1st Trip in 2012

Okay it isn't a real trip, but it is our 1st caching trip of the year. Kylee had a basketball game in Weiser and I was tired of being cooped up in the house, so I decided that after the game we were going to take the long way home from Weiser and get some caches. It has been a long time since we have been on that stretch of road and it was fun to see how beautiful the area we live in really is. After we found our first cache we came along some deer off the road and of course we had to turn around a couple of times so that Jaime could see the bucks (he didn't see a buck all hunting season). Then a little farther down the road we saw another herd of deer, luckily we didn't have to spend near as much time looking at them because they were farther off the road and we couldn't see them as well. We saw a lot of ducks and geese on the river and I think the neatest thing was seeing the golden eagle sitting an a barrier on the freeway on the way home. It was so much fun just to get out of the house for a little while and have some fun as a family. The only downside to going out is now we all want to go camping, but guess what, there is still snow in the mountains, so I think it will be awhile before we can go camping, but hopefully we will have a few more caching trips in the near future.
Can you see the bucks??

We found it!!

Ben didn't want his pic took, but I really liked the view of the river and the hills and the snowy mountains behind him.

It is so neat to watch the popcorn pop!!

The pictures were great, glad you got to have a little fun. Just wondering where you got such a neat looking form of entertainment for Ben!!!!!!!!
