It is so hard to believe, but Kylee is officially 11 years old!!! It seems like just 2 years ago we spent all day in the hospital having her and now here she is half grown up. She is such a great kid, she is very helpful and is always willing to take on whatever challenge comes her way. She is a great sister to Ben and Brooke and is always willing to teach Brooke new things, and try and do her hair and even play with her. I like to say she is a girly-girl, but in all reality she is both girly/tomboy. She loves to do the girly things like: nails, hair, clothes and designing, but she also loves the great outdoors and is always ready to go for a bike ride, grab a pole and go fishing and she is gearing up to go hunting next year. I get to work at the same school she goes to and I always love to see her smiling face as she is walking down the hall to her next class. She is an all around great kid and I love doing stuff with her.
As many people know as kids get older buying gifts becomes harder and more expensive!! Well we were pretty stumped this year as to what to get her, but then we remembered our first camping trip this year and how she totally rocked at shooting Ben's bow, so guess what she got for her birthday?? That's right we got her a bow and now she is just dying for the chance to go try it out. She was also spoiled by her grandparents who gave her some more fishing stuff for her tackle box, a hiking stick for our great family hikes, and soccer stuff for her next year in soccer. She also received some clothes and her all time favorite MONEY!! Talk about spoiled, but she is well worth it and has earned every bit of it, I think the best part of her birthday this year was she didn't get any school stuff for her birthday!!
