September in a nutshell

This last month has just flown by, I can't believe we are already into October. School is in full swing for the kids and they are doing well. Kylee is really enjoying middle school. She likes that she has different teachers and that she gets a locker!! Ben has his ups and downs, I never thought I would have to deal with drama from a boy, but I have more drama from him than I do from Kylee. I keep praying that his days will get better and that he will be able to enjoy going to school. Brooke is still visiting Cindy everyday and as always comes home with some new crazy adventure. The newest one is that she "booby trapped" the family room at Cindy's. She didn't want the other kids to touch her stuff, so she got the yarn out and tied it around her toys and her books and everything else she could tie it around. When the other kids got there the boy went running into the family room and tripped on her trap and ended up with a fat lip.


We spent a morning out sighting in guns for hunting and for course Ben and Kylee had to bring their bows.

Kylee had a tough time with hers, we need to practice some more.

Brooke got this monkey at a yard sale and had to have ger picture taken.

We were able to go to Eagle Island in September and watch my cousin (from Utah) run in a cross country race, he is really good, he took 22nd out of over 300 runners. It was a lot of fun to hang out with the family for the day.
We celebrated my Grandma's birthday with family while they were here, she would have been 77 and we all miss her so much, Ben had a melt down in church on her birthday which had a ripple effect on the rest of our family. We are so thankful for the knowledge we have of eternal families and we know that we will be with her again.
Now we are anxiously awaiting Thanksgiving when they will be able to come up and spend a few days!! Here are a few pictures from the month.
